- Good understanding of nutrition and healthy menu planning.
- Experience using fresh seasonal food to create quality dishes.
- Ability to support menu development and kitchen operations.
- HACCP understanding and compliance with food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist Head Chef in menu development and planning.
- Manage kitchen in Head Chef's absence and maintain quality.
- Prepare nutritious and flavoursome dishes from fresh produce.
- Create a warm, efficient and welcoming kitchen environment.
- Work within budget and complete regular stock audits.
- Ensure high standards of food safety and HACCP compliance.
