Job Title: Second Chef

Salary: up to £15.00 per hour

Location: Tewkesbury, GL20 6HP

Are you a qualified Chef looking to work with fresh seasonal food, with the opportunity to achieve a better work-life balance and make a meaningful impact through your work?

As a Second Chef at our client's care home, you will have the opportunity to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without split shifts and long weeks. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced menus while working with residents to tailor menus to their needs. We pride ourselves on delivering person-centred hospitality across all services and seek warm, motivated, and passionate chefs who are driven by quality.

Requirements

• A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in residents' wellbeing
• A good understanding of nutrition
• Experience working with fresh seasonal food
• The ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within the home
• Confidence engaging with residents to create appetizing and nutritious menus
• Good understanding of HACCP standards
