Job Title: Second Chef

Salary: up to £15.37 per hour

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 9EN

About the Role

Are you a qualified Chef seeking to work with fresh seasonal food, with a better work-life balance and meaningful work?

As a Second Chef at our client's care home, you will deliver hotel/restaurant standards without split shifts or long weeks. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced menus, working closely with residents to tailor menus to their preferences. We value warm, motivated, and passionate chefs driven by quality and dedicated to person-centered hospitality.

Requirements
  • A personable and warm approach with genuine interest in residents’ wellbeing
  • Good understanding of nutrition
  • Experience working with fresh, seasonal food
  • Ability to create a welcoming environment within the home
  • Confidence engaging with residents to develop appetizing and nutritious menus
  • Good understanding of HACCP standards
Responsibilities
