Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a qualified chef to join as a Bank Chef, delivering hotel/restaurant standards with no split shifts. You’ll assist the Head Chef, tailor menus for residents, and work to maintain high quality across meals using fresh seasonal produce.

Qualifications

• Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent.
• Experience leading and inspiring a kitchen team.
• Good understanding of nutrition and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
• Work with fresh produce to deliver high quality dishes.
• Help create a warm, efficient and fun environment.
• Work within budget.
• Complete regular audits.
• Manage stock control.
• Assist in leading and motivating a team.
