Barchester is seeking a friendly Bank Chef to support our kitchens with fresh, seasonal menus within a flexible part-time pattern. You’ll help the Head Chef, prepare high-quality dishes for residents, and maintain standards in a warm care-home environment.

The role emphasises a team-focused, respectful workplace, good nutrition knowledge, HACCP compliance, and opportunities to develop your skills in hospitality-focused healthcare settings.

Qualificações

• Personable and warm approach with resident wellbeing
• Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent
• Experience in leading and inspiring a team
• Good understanding of nutrition
• Experience of working with fresh seasonal food
• Ability to create a warm and welcoming environment
• Good understanding of HACCP

Responsabilidades

• Help manage the kitchen in Head Chef's absence
• Work with fresh produce to deliver high quality and wholesome dishes
• Create a warm, efficient and fun environment
• Work within budget
• Complete regular audits
• Manage stock control
• Assist in leading and motivating a team
