Job summary

The Bristol Temple Meads Station is seeking Customer Service Assistants to support customers during planned railway engineering works. You will be the first and last point of contact, providing assistance, directions and travel information while replacement bus services operate.

Shifts run from 08:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00; pay rate is £13.45 per hour. You must live locally or have reliable transport to the station and be available for the listed dates.

Qualifications

• Be aged 18 years or over.
• Be physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
• Hold a valid Right to Work in the UK.
• Have good spoken English and clear communication skills.
• Be able to commit to all required working dates.
• Be reliable, punctual and professional.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting customers as they enter and leave the station.
• Assisting customers with travel information and general enquiries.
• Supporting passengers who require additional assistance.
• Helping customers locate replacement bus services.
• Maintaining a safe station environment.
• Providing a friendly, professional and approachable service at all times.
