Job summary

Castle Employment Group is seeking enthusiastic Temporary Customer Service Advisors on the outskirts of York for the festive period. You will enjoy speaking with people and thrive in a fast-paced environment, supporting customers by phone and providing product information.

The role runs Tuesday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, and Saturday 8am–4:30pm, with own transport required due to location. This is a temporary position paying £12.76 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, ideally telephone-based.
• Confident communicator with a friendly, positive approach.
• Good IT skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls with professional service.
• Process customer orders accurately over the phone.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve issues and provide advice.
• Support customers with product information and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain customer records and update internal systems.
• Ensure customers feel valued and receive excellent service.
