A fast-growing, innovative fintech company in the car finance sector is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Head of SEO to lead their SEO strategy and content initiatives. This exciting opportunity comes as part of an expansion phase, with plans to grow headcount by 10 in the near future.

About the Role:

• 80% content-driven SEO focus: You will position the brand as helpful and authoritative in the industry.
• Define the SEO roadmap, focusing on AI-driven search and evolving content strategies.
• Lead a team of freelance writers, work closely with a PR agency, and manage a range of SEO tools (SERanking, Hubspot, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Stay at the forefront of an ever-evolving landscape, optimizing the brand's online presence.
• Balance hands-on execution with strategic leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on high-quality content production and modern content strategies to improve visibility.
• Apply a foundational understanding of classic SEO, including sitemaps, HubSpot, and basic technical aspects.
• Manage a range of internal and external resources to ensure consistent, impactful SEO delivery.
• Navigate regional considerations in how Carmoola is indexed by Google, especially in relation to automotive and car dealership spaces.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in a hands-on, in-house SEO role, with a strong focus on content production.
• In-depth understanding of modern SEO practices, particularly AI-driven search and content quality.
• Experience in leading content teams and optimizing for future SEO complexities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment where there is no room to hide.
