Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel's Sea Logistics team is seeking an Operational Care Specialist to help design, manage and optimize processes that keep goods moving efficiently. You will ensure timely processing of tasks via BPA, including customs clearance preparation, booking insurance, and preparing import shipment files with precise data for customer reporting.

You will collaborate with Customer Care Locations to ensure service excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement within the OCC, while supporting

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes and sea logistics operations.
• Working knowledge of customs requirements, shipment methods and Incoterms.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operational / Tactical duties include complete import clearance tasks and onboarding.
• Maintain BPA tasks within required timeframes and support system rollouts.
• Lead onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Promote compliance, continuous improvement and best practices.
• Minimise losses and ensure accurate shipment costing updates.
