Job summary

Pontoon in Manchester is seeking a passionate Scrum Master with Financial Services experience to guide agile teams and foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and value delivery.

You will coach teams in Scrum principles, remove impediments, and promote servant leadership, working four days per week in the office and supporting the Product Owner with backlog refinement and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team applying Scrum in practice.
• Experience within a Financial Services organisation; fund accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution and continual improvement.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams in agile practises and values to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate self-organisation and help teams fill gaps in Scrum frameworks.
• Assess team Scrum maturity and coach growth at a comfortable pace.
• Remove impediments and assist teams in resolving issues.
• Create a safe environment for open discussion without blame.
• Facilitate discussions and conflict resolution for productive collaboration.
• Improve internal and external communication, increasing transparency.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog grooming and maintenance.
• Lead by example with servant leadership and unwavering team support.
