Role Overview

The Scrum Master will drive Agile delivery, ensuring teams build and release high-quality products that benefit learners and educators. They will foster collaboration, remove blockers, and optimize workflows to enable consistent and predictable delivery.

They will also ensure that digital solutions are reliable, accessible, and engaging, aligning teams on priorities, driving continuous improvement, and supporting education outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Initiative Scrum Master
  • Define, estimate, and plan initiatives before execution, meeting readiness criteria and aligning Scrum Masters.
  • Oversee delivery timelines and manage requirement changes and budgets.
  • Maintain capacity plans and facilitate cross-team collaboration through Scrum of Scrums.
  • Support rollout, stakeholder communication, bug triages, and retrospectives.
Team Scrum Master
  • Maintain a backlog for current and upcoming sprints.
  • Break down sprint goals into stories, tasks, and test cases.
  • Support the team in delivering work while maintaining velocity.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and escalate issues proactively.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 4+ years as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, preferably in tech or EdTech.
  • Experience leading multiple teams or complex initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Agile practices, ceremonies, and tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean, and software development processes.
Skills
  • Strong metrics tracking and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proactive risk management and dependency handling.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments and promoting innovation.
Qualifications
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, SSM or equivalent).
  • Optional: Project Management or Lean Six Sigma certifications.
  • Optional: Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
