TeacherActive is working with a large Secondary School based in Blackley, Manchester, which has been awarded an 'Outstanding' OFSTED rating.

The school is looking to take on a Science Technician from October on a full-time, long-term basis to support the Science department with the preparation and organisation of practical lessons, maintaining equipment and resources, and ensuring laboratories are safe and ready for teaching.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Science Technician within a UK school is essential
• Experience preparing equipment and resources for Science practical lessons
• Knowledge of laboratory health and safety procedures
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a Science department
• A reliable, proactive and adaptable approach

Salary: £100 - £120 per day

The successful Science Technician will have:
