Brampton Manor Academy is seeking a Science Technician to support the delivery of biology, chemistry and physics across KS3, KS4/GCSE and KS5/AS‑level. You will help prepare experiments, maintain equipment and assist with demonstrations in class.
The role is full-time (36 hours/week, term time only) with a salary of £24,687–£25,756 and opportunities for professional development within a busy science department.

We are seeking to appoint a science technician to work in our high achieving, busy science department, to support the delivery and teaching of science (biology, chemistry, and physics) across all three key stages (KS3, KS4/GCSE and KS5/A level). The main responsibilities of the post holder will include:
There is daily contact with students plus opportunities to assist with practical's or perform demonstrations in class when requested.
The successful candidate will ideally have an A level or higher qualification in a science discipline and experience working in a laboratory or research environment. In addition, previous experience working in a school or higher education teaching environment would be valuable.
