Job summary

Ladybridge High School is seeking two Science Technicians to coordinate the use of practical resources and provide technical assistance to the Science Department. The role is 37 hours per week, term time only, with a permanent contract.

Applications are invited for two suitably skilled Science Technicians who can work under pressure, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with students and staff. Part-time and job share options will be considered where appropriate.

Qualifications

• A practical knowledge of the use of equipment, chemicals and science resources.
• Experience of working within a science-related environment or with a background in science.
• Experience of working with children or young people.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly helpful manner.
• The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

We will also consider part-time and job share options.

We are seeking to appoint two suitably skilled Science Technicians to co-ordinate the use of practical resources and provide technical assistance to the Science Department. We are looking for exceptional candidates with:

• A practical knowledge of the use of equipment, chemicals and science resources
• Experience of working within a science-related environment or with a background in science
• Experience of working with children or young people
• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly helpful manner
• The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Previous experience in a similar post would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
