Whitchurch High School in Cardiff is seeking a general science technician to join our experienced science team. The role supports three laboratories and KS3 science duties across Year 7 and Year 9, with term-time hours and a 39-week calendar.

Scale 3 – Point 4 - 6 (37 hours a week, 39 weeks (term time only)
To start in November 2026 on the Lower School site, a general science technician is required. You will be expected to work as an integral part of a well-established technician and science team. Your main duties will involve servicing three science laboratories and carrying out general technician duties associated with Key Stage 3 Science (Year 7 Integrated science and Year 9 shared responsibility). A general science background is essential.
