Job summary

You will prepare equipment, maintain laboratories, and provide day-to-day practical support to the Science Department in line with CLEAPSS and COSHH regulations, building strong relationships with staff and pupils.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health and safety practice, COSHH regulations and CLEAPSS guidance as they apply to laboratory work.
• Accurate and methodical, with strong attention to detail.
• Able to manage a varied workload and respond calmly to changing priorities.
• A confident communicator, able to work effectively with teaching staff and pupils.
• Committed to safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people.
