Job summary

Presfield High School & Specialist College is seeking a Teaching Assistant (TA3) in Life Skills to join our team. The role is 34 hours per week, term-time plus one inset week, with a strong safeguarding culture and opportunities to support pupils across the Life Skills curriculum.

The successful candidate will assist in delivering Life Skills across Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing and evaluating tailored intervention programmes, and supporting both specialist and non-specialist teachers with

• Experience of working in a SEN environment would be desirable.
• Commitment to helping students develop vital life skills for independence.
• Ability to prepare, deliver and evaluate tailored intervention programmes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Life Skills curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Prepare, deliver and evaluate tailored intervention programmes for pupils of different ages and abilities.
• Support both specialist and non-specialist teachers with organising resources, equipment and community-based activities.
