Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Newport is seeking a qualified Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term temporary post across KS3 and KS4, delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics and engaging students with varied abilities.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, manage classroom behaviour, assess progress and support students to reach their potential. NQTs are welcome; we offer market-leading pay and dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS with a Science specialism (NQTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Science across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry and Physics

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Science Teacher on a full-time, long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics, assessing student progress, managing classroom behaviour and supporting students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS with a Science specialism (NQTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Science across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum, including Biology, Chemistry and Physics
