Job summary

Principal Education is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join a Harris Federation secondary school from January 2027 on a long-term basis through to the end of the academic year.

You will deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, preparing students for GCSEs and developing their scientific understanding in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching Science at secondary level.
• Confident teaching across KS3 and KS4.
• Able to teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE level, or be a strong specialist in one discipline.
• Confident delivering practical Science lessons.
• Strong classroom practitioner with effective behaviour management skills.
• Able to differentiate effectively and support students with additional needs.
• Passionate about Science and committed to raising student attainment.
• Reliable and committed to a long-term position.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join the school from January 2027 on a long-term basis through to the end of the academic year.
