Job summary

Aspire People are seeking a dedicated Secondary Science Teacher for an immediate start at a large secondary school in Rhondda Cynon Taf. You will deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 and manage behaviour to support learners of mixed abilities.

The role is full-time and long-term with an immediate start, offering strong collaboration with pastoral and leadership teams, ongoing professional development, and dedicated consultant support from Aspire People throughout your placement.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting.
• Confident teaching Biology, Chemistry and General Science.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Able to engage and motivate learners who may be disengaged from education.

The successful candidate will primarily be working with lower ability classes and pupils who can present challenging behaviour, so strong behaviour management skills are essential for success in this role.
