Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Science Teacher for SEN/SEMH provision across four sites near Southampton. The role involves delivering Science, with potential Maths/English support depending on experience, and adapting lessons to meet diverse needs.

The post is permanent, term-time only options and full-time preference are offered, with pay scale dependent on experience. A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified science teacher with current QTS status.
• Experience with SEN/SEMH learners is desirable.
• Ability to adapt lessons for a wide range of abilities.
• Willingness to teach Maths and/or English if needed.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.

Responsabilités

• Teach Science to students across the age range to be discussed at interview.
• Potentially deliver Maths and/or English alongside Science based on experience.
• Adapt lessons and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships and provide a calm, consistent learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support academic, social and emotional development.
