Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a committed Science Teacher to join a specialist SEN/SEMH setting across Totton, Dibden, Fawley and Ower. The role may include teaching Maths and/or English depending on experience.

The successful candidate will adapt lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs and foster positive relationships in a calm, inclusive classroom. This permanent position offers term-time only hours with full-time preferences and potential for four-day weeks.

Qualifications

• Teach Science to students across an age range that will be discussed at interview.
• Potentially deliver Maths and/or English alongside Science, depending on your experience.
• Adapt lessons and resources to meet a wide range of individual learning needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students and provide a calm, consistent learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support students' academic, social and emotional development.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment.
