Job summary

The Keystone Academy in Shrewsbury is seeking a dedicated teacher to contribute to its specialist SEMH and neurodivergent education program. You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils, and help create a nurturing, trauma-informed learning environment.

With a focus on personalised education and strong pastoral care, the role offers the opportunity to work across a broad curriculum, collaborating with SENCO teams and SLT to monitor progress and meet National Curriculum requirements.

Qualifications

• Note: Post holders will be expected to be flexible inundertaking duties and responsibilities attached to their post and may be asked to perform duties which reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the teaching of their own subject within the school and other subjects as and when required.
• Support and maintain an environment and a code of behaviour and discipline which promotes and secures good teaching, effective learning and high standards of achievement.
• Deliver and support the PHSE and RHSE programmes across the school.
