Job summary

Warwickshire College Group (WCG) seeks a qualified Science Teacher to join the WCG Drive team at Trident College on a permanent, full-time basis. The role centers on delivering GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) to 14-16 students, with scope to teach PE or PHSE as part of a dual role.

Strong curriculum development and collaboration with the Headteacher are essential. You will contribute to the curriculum, use appropriate technologies, and ensure learner progress is tracked and recorded,

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status or PGCE/QTLS required.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade A-C or equivalent.
• Degree in a related subject is essential.
• Experience with SEMH is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics) to 14-16 learners.
• Develop and shape the Science curriculum in collaboration with the Headteacher.
• Maintain accurate learner progress records and provide timely feedback.
• Undertake pedagogic duties including classroom and online teaching.
• Support safeguarding and welfare of learners and ensure a positive learning environment.
