Job summary

Think FE Ltd in Warwickshire is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a well-established further education college on a permanent, full-time basis. The role focuses on delivering GCSE Science across Biology, Chemistry and Physics within learners' college study programmes.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess progress, provide pastoral and academic support, maintain learner records, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to create an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

QTS/QTLS or PGCE with a related degree.
GCSE Maths and English at A-C/4-9 or equivalent.
Experience teaching GCSE Science and safeguarding knowledge.
Experience with SEND, EAL or SEMH.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging GCSE Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Create learning resources and assess student progress.
Provide pastoral and academic support and maintain learner records.
Collaborate with colleagues, liaise with parents/carers and stakeholders.
Support wider curriculum activities and events.
