Job summary

Warwickshire College Group is seeking an English Teacher for the WCG Drive 14-16 Direct Entry School at the Trident College campus, opening in September 2026. The role covers GCSE English and Functional Skills, with scope to teach PE or life skills as part of a dual role.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher status with QTLS or PGCE.
• GCSEs grade A-C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• Educated to degree level in a related subject.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GCSE and Functional Skills English to students.
• Teach 25 hours per week during the school term (39 weeks per year).
• Develop curriculum alongside the Headteacher and drive quality improvement.
• Maintain learner progress records and provide feedback to learners and parents.
