Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Science Teacher in Trafford to deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role is long-term and starts in October within a nurturing secondary school environment.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver lessons, assess pupil progress and uphold high standards of behaviour and learning. QTS with a Science specialism is required; ECTs welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Science Teacher with QTS.
• Experience teaching Science across KS3/KS4.
• Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Salary: £150 - £270 per day

The school provides a supportive environment for pupils and staff, with a strong focus on helping students develop academically and reach their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a Science Teacher from October on a long-term basis, teaching students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning within the classroom.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Science specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Science across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Sound knowledge of the Science curriculum
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and nurturing approach to teaching and learning
