We are looking for a motivated, experienced full-time Team Leader to join the team at Science Museum, London.

We have several cafés in the museum serving an exciting wide range of cold and hot beverages, sandwiches, snacks, hot food options, and more.

About the Team Leader role:

  • Seek to deliver a perfect food and drink service at all times.
  • Train, support, and develop the FOH team to deliver consistently excellent results through key points of service.
  • Measure team members' performance and report back to the management.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team at all times.
  • Ensure the availability of products and staff to required levels.
  • Have proficient knowledge of Health & Safety / Food & Hygiene standards.
  • Ensure correct ordering, stock control, and food production.
  • Communicate effectively with other employees and management.
  • Offer suggestions for improving existing processes.
  • Actively participate and contribute towards achieving team goals.
  • Undertake additional duties as instructed by management.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
  • Food Safety Level 2.
  • Health and Safety Level 2.
