Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting for an experienced Science Lecturer to join a well-established college in East Yorkshire on a full-time temporary contract.

You will deliver engaging science lessons, plan and assess in line with awarding bodies, monitor progress, and maintain records, with a focus on learners of diverse abilities and needs.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching science in a Further Education college.
• Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent.
• Ability to engage learners with diverse needs and abilities.
• Strong planning, assessment and record-keeping skills.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience teaching all disciplines of science within a Further Education college.
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
• A relevant degree or recognised qualification in Maths or a related subject.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners with diverse needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
