Job summary

Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting for an experienced GCSE & Functional Skills English Lecturer to join a well-established college in North Yorkshire on a full-time temporary contract.

Deliver GCSE and Functional Skills English lessons to students of varying abilities; plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements; monitor progress and maintain records while supporting learners to achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English in a Further Education college.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
• Relevant degree or recognised qualification in Maths or related subject.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience teaching GCSE and/or Functional Skills English within a Further Education college.
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent).
• A relevant degree or recognised qualification in Maths or a related subject.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage learners with diverse needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
