Job summary

Ealing Council's Data and Performance Officer (Schools) will join the Schools Data, Performance and Intelligence team to deliver high-quality data, insight and reporting across education services. You will support statutory returns and school performance data for almost 100 settings, helping senior leaders make informed decisions to improve outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Experience with data, performance or intelligence roles in local authority settings.
• Ability to interpret data and produce clear insights.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of education policy and school accountability frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of data systems and reporting.
• Collect, cleanse and analyse data to support reporting and insight.
• Submit statutory returns and ensure data quality.
• Work with nearly 100 education settings for timely submissions.
• Produce management information and reports to inform decisions.
• Support school reports and performance data through Ealing Learning Partnership.
• Assist quality assurance including validation, audits and inspections.
• Interpret policy and regulatory requirements to develop data solutions.
• Collaborate with ICT and stakeholders to improve data flows.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and confidentiality.
