Job summary

Ealing Council in London is seeking a Performance and Data Analyst (SEND) to transform SEND services through data and intelligence. You will work with senior leaders to deliver high-quality insight and ensure timely statutory reporting including SEN2.

In this role you will develop data systems, support SEND reforms, and enable informed decisions to improve outcomes for residents. The post is full-time, with opportunities to influence strategy within the Schools Data, Performance and Intelligence

Qualifications

Advanced skills in Excel, SQL and Power BI.
Strong analytical and forecasting capability.
Experience working with large datasets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience in SEND, education or public sector.

Responsibilities

Lead statutory returns (including SEN2) ensuring compliance and deadlines are met.
Develop and enhance data systems and reporting frameworks.
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and inform planning.
Produce high-quality dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI).
Provide expert advice on data interpretation and performance.
Support forecasting including specialist school place planning.
Collaborate with services, ICT and partners to improve data systems.
Ensure strong data quality, validation and GDPR compliance.
