Job summary

London Borough of Waltham Forest is seeking a Performance Analyst to join the Business Intelligence team. You will deliver data and analytics solutions focused on children's social care, producing strategic assessments, performance reporting and statutory data returns to support decision-making and resource allocation.

This hybrid role requires at least two days in the office each week, with potential for additional days based on service needs.

Qualifications

Proven experience working in an analytical role.
Experience in analytics or business intelligence tools, this could include Microsoft Excel, Power BI or SQL.
Strong communication skills and experience of presenting analysis to senior audiences to inform decision-making and prioritisation.
Tenacity and ambition to drive innovation and improvement in the use of data.
Ability to collaborate and build effective relationships across the organisation and with partner agencies.

Responsibilities

Identifying user needs and turning them into data and analytics requirements.
Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders, partners and colleagues.
Supporting and influencing within the team to deliver on our agreed priorities.
Identifying, assessing, analysing and mapping appropriate data to use in new analytics products.
