Job summary

The London Borough of Ealing is seeking a Performance Data Analyst (SEND) to support SEND services with high-quality insight and timely statutory reporting including SEN2. You will work with senior leaders to improve outcomes for children and young people across Ealing.

You will develop data systems, analyse large datasets, and provide forecasting support while ensuring GDPR compliance and strong data quality.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel, SQL and Power BI skills.
• Strong analytical and forecasting capability.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience in SEND, education or public sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead statutory returns (including SEN2) ensuring compliance and deadlines are met.
• Develop and enhance data systems and reporting frameworks.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and inform planning.
• Produce high-quality dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI).
• Provide expert advice on data interpretation and performance.
• Support forecasting including specialist school place planning.
• Collaborate with services, ICT and partners to improve data systems.
• Ensure strong data quality, validation and GDPR compliance.
