Job summary

Halton Borough Council is seeking an Education Performance and Intelligence Officer to lead on production, analysis and interpretation of key performance information across Education and Inclusion services. You will shape strategic planning and support inspection activities with evidence-based analysis.

You will use SQL and Power BI to develop dashboards, reports and commentary for managers, partners and senior leaders, ensuring high-quality performance information supports decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience in data and performance analysis to drive service improvements.
• Ability to produce statutory and local performance returns for government departments and inspectors.
• Strong BI skills to develop dashboards and performance commentary for managers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and analyse performance frameworks to support service delivery and performance management.
• Produce and submit accurate statutory and local performance returns for regulators and inspectors.
• Analyse data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop reports, dashboards and performance commentary for managers and elected members.
