Job summary

Connect2Hampshire in Winchester is seeking an Eligibility Support Officer to join the School Transport Eligibility Team. The role supports families, schools and colleagues by managing applications, enquiries and eligibility processes efficiently.

A rota covers the emergency line 7:00am–5:00pm to respond to urgent issues affecting children and young people. You will work closely with parents, carers, schools and internal colleagues, gathering information, coordinating information from schools,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Acting as a key point of contact for parents, carers and schools.
• Responding to enquiries by telephone, email and written correspondence.
• Managing shared inboxes and coordinating workflow activity.
• Obtaining and checking information required to support eligibility processes.
• Liaising with schools, families and partner organisations.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating service systems.
• Supporting reviews and appeals administration.
• Producing routine reports and performance information.
• Helping ensure urgent issues are escalated and managed appropriately.
