Job summary

The Westleigh School is seeking an enthusiastic Site & Premises Supervisor to manage the school site, buildings and grounds. You will ensure a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors, while coordinating contractors and carrying out essential checks.

The role requires practical, organised, proactive individuals with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a varied workload. Experience in an education setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school site, buildings and grounds.
• Carry out regular site checks and respond to maintenance or health and safety issues.
• Coordinate contractors and external services, ensuring work is completed safely.
• Support compliance checks, statutory testing and health and safety requirements.
• Manage site security, including opening and closing the school and responding to emergencies.
• Build positive relations with staff, students, contractors and visitors.
