Job summary

Bearwood Primary & Nursery School is seeking a proactive Site Manager to maintain the security, safety and presentation of the school site and grounds. You will coordinate repairs and manage contractors to keep the site in top condition so that pupils, staff and visitors have a safe environment.

You will lead a small team and ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation across buildings and grounds, supporting the day-to-day life of the school and contributing to a welcoming

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities/maintenance management.
• Ability to manage contractors and planned maintenance.
• Broad range of practical maintenance and DIY skills.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security and safety of the school site at all times.
• Carry out and oversee general maintenance and repairs.
• Manage contractors and coordinate planned maintenance works.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the school buildings and grounds.
• Support compliance with health and safety, safeguarding and statutory requirements.
