Job summary

The Shaw Education Trust seeks a Site & Premises Supervisor for our secondary school to ensure buildings, facilities and grounds are safe, secure, and well maintained.

You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate contractors, support health and safety checks, manage site security, and respond to emergencies, while building positive relationships with staff and visitors. Qualifications

• Experience in site, premises, estates or facilities management.
• Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
• Desirable experience in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school site, buildings and grounds.
• Carry out regular site checks and respond promptly to maintenance or health and safety issues.
• Coordinate contractors and external services, ensuring safe, effective work.
• Support compliance checks and statutory testing.
• Manage site security and respond to emergencies.
