Job summary

Teleios Recruitment Ltd is supporting a well-established school in Lichfield seeking an experienced School Site Manager to join on a permanent basis. Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising a school site or educational premises.
• Understanding of safeguarding, compliance, health and safety in a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management and maintenance of the school site, working with the Head Teacher, staff and cleaning team.
• Ensure the school remains safe, secure and well maintained.
• Carry out regular checks of the buildings, grounds and facilities.
• Manage and maintain compliance records.
• Ensure statutory checks and testing are completed and recorded correctly.
• Oversee fire safety procedures, including fire alarm testing and records.
• Identify maintenance issues and arrange repairs; liaise with contractors and external suppliers.
• Carry out basic maintenance and repairs where appropriate.
• Manage keys, security and site access; support health and safety requirements.
