Job summary

CERT Solutions is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a school in West Bromwich. Working alongside the Site Manager, you will help keep the site safe, well maintained and running efficiently.

You will complete day-to-day tasks, carry out general maintenance, support contractors, and help maintain a welcoming environment for pupils and staff. A full DBS check and safeguarding training are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a school/site-based role.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to undergo a full DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day running and maintenance of the school site.
• Ensure all scheduled tasks are completed on time.
• Carry out general site maintenance and basic repairs.
• Help keep the premises clean, safe and secure.
• Assist with site checks and report issues to the Site Manager.
• Support contractors and visitors when required.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
• Take responsibility for completing tasks independently when required.
