Job summary

Leamington Primary & Nursery Academy in Sutton-on-Trent is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the school site, ensuring a safe, secure, clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

You will lead maintenance tasks, coordinate contractors, monitor health and safety compliance, support school events and lettings, and contribute to budgets and improvement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in site management and maintenance is desirable.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements and statutory inspections.
• Strong communication skills with staff, contractors and visitors.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and stay organised.
• Flexible approach to shift patterns and safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school site is safe, secure, and well maintained.
• Carry out routine repairs and oversee maintenance across buildings and grounds.
• Coordinate cleaning provision to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring safe, effective work.
• Support health and safety compliance and respond to site-related issues.
• Assist with school lettings, events, and wider school life.
