Outwood Academy Freeston in Normanton, Wakefield, is seeking a dedicated Site Manager to secure a safe, clean, and efficient academy environment. The role is a job-share, 18.5 hours per week, with a rotating fortnightly schedule and a strong focus on health and safety leadership.

You will oversee statutory inspections, budgets, contractors, and a small premises team, delivering up to £50K projects, and ensure safeguarding policies are implemented.

Qualifications

• Health & safety management experience in education settings (accreditation preferred).
• Knowledge of premises compliance, risk assessments and checks.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily site operations and site security.
• Lead health & safety programs across the academy.
• Ensure statutory inspections, risk assessments and checks are completed.
• Manage premises budgets, purchase orders and contractor payments.
• Coordinate cleaning and maintenance teams and supervise contractors.
• Deliver small premises projects up to £50K and monitor standards of work.
