Blessed Hugh Faringdon Catholic School is seeking a dedicated Site Assistant to join our Site Team. You will help keep the school site clean, safe, and well-maintained, supporting upkeep, maintenance, cleanliness, and security for students, staff and visitors.

The role involves opening and closing the school buildings on a rotation (6:30am start, 6:00pm finish), carrying out minor repairs, assisting with health and safety procedures, and setting up rooms for events.

Qualifications

• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Basic maintenance and DIY skills are desirable.
• Willingness to adapt to the needs of the school, including occasional flexibility with working hours.
• Basic understanding of Health and Safety, COSHHH and Building Control

Responsabilités

• Supporting the upkeep, maintenance, cleanliness, and security of the school site.
• Opening and closing the school buildings on a rotational basis (6:30am opening, 6:00pm closing).
• Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Assisting with site security and health & safety procedures.
