Job summary

Blessed Hugh Faringdon Catholic School is seeking a Casual Lettings Assistant to join our Site Team and help manage lettings and evening events, ensuring premises are safe, clean and secure.

This temporary role runs on Thursdays 7:00pm–10:00pm and alternate Saturdays 8:00am–5:30pm, with possible extra hours. You will open and close facilities, act as key holder and respond to emergencies as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the safe, secure and effective use of school premises during evenings, weekends and school holiday periods.
• Ensure all areas used by hirers are left safe, tidy and secure, ready for normal school use.
• Open and close the school premises for lettings and events.
• Provide practical support to lettings users and help maintain a safe and orderly environment.
• Act as a key holder for the school site.
• Take responsibility as the designated person in charge during lettings periods and respond appropriately in the event of an emergency.
• Undertake routine site checks and report any concerns or maintenance issues.
