Responsibilities include opening/locking premises, routine maintenance, health and safety checks, coordinating with contractors, and supporting day-to-day site operations to keep the school running smoothly. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in similar roles, strong DIY skills, knowledge of H&S

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Supervisor, Caretaker, Facilities Assistant, or Maintenance Operative
• Good DIY and practical maintenance skills
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
• A flexible and proactive approach
• Excellent communication skills and a professional manner

Responsibilities

• Opening and locking the school premises
• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are safe, secure, and well maintained
• Conducting regular health and safety checks
• Monitoring site security and reporting any issues
• Liaising with contractors and external service providers
• Assisting with room setups and operational requirements across the school
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the site
