Job summary

Coba Education Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced Site Supervisor to support a welcoming primary school in Northampton on a temporary basis. The role offers flexibility around working hours, totaling 35 hours per week, with focus on safety, upkeep and efficient site operations.

The ideal candidate will hold an Enhanced DBS and have background in site supervision or facilities management, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• DBS check (Enhanced) required.
• Experience in Site Supervisor, Caretaker, Facilities or Premises Management role.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Able to undertake practical maintenance and site management tasks.

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school site.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are upheld across the site.
• Managing site security and access for visitors and contractors.
• Monitoring and reporting maintenance issues.
• Supporting with deliveries, room setups, and general site duties.
• Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of external areas.

To Be Considered, You Must:

• * Hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service
• * Have previous experience working in a Site Supervisor, Caretaker, Facilities, or Premises Management role
• * Have a strong understanding of health and safety procedures
• * Be reliable, organised, and able to work independently
• * Be able to undertake practical maintenance and site management tasks
