Job summary

St Mary and St Joseph School is seeking a Site Facilities Officer to support the safety, security and operations of the school's site. The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with duties including general maintenance, routine repairs and compliance checks.

Hours are 6:00am–10:00am and 2:30pm–5:30pm; some flexibility may be agreed with the Headteacher. You will work hands-on with a can-do approach and contribute to maintaining high standards for staff and students.

Qualifications

• A willingness to undertake training relevant to the role.
• The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• The ability to establish professional effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders and also young people.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking general maintenance and routine repairs across the site.
• Assisting with safety, security and site operations.
• Compliance checks to maintain high standards across the premises.
