Job summary

St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Bognor Regis is seeking a Premises Officer to help us look after our school, to work as a member of the whole staff team to ensure the children are provided with a safe, clean and attractive learning environment which will enhance their achievement and enjoyment.

Responsibilities

• Open and/or close the site ensuring safety and security.
• Ensure the management and maintenance of the school buildings and environment.
• Be responsible for the health & safety of the site.
• Liaise with contractors, arranging quotes and overseeing repairs and building projects.
• Create and maintain an effective premises team and oversee cleaning staff.
• Ensure a clean, tidy and well-maintained school environment.
