Job summary

Thinking Facilities seeks a Mobile Facilities Officer to support the Site Manager with day-to-day tasks and assist with capital projects. Primary location at Meon Junior School, with travel to Meon Infants School and Moorings Way Infant School within the hub.

You will manage premises and facilities to keep them secure, safe and well-maintained, reflecting the standards of the school. Core hours Mon-Thu 6.30–10.30 and 14.30–18.00; Fri 6.30–10.30 and 14.30–17.30, with a 10% shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caretaker or similar.
• Manage the utilisation of the premises and facilities across The Thinking Schools Academy Trust.
• Practical skills in maintenance and cleaning.
• Health & Safety management.
• Experience of working within an Academy/School is desirable.
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Full clean driving licence with access to own transport.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site tasks and assist with capital projects as required.
• Ensure premises are secure, safe and well-maintained at all times across sites.
• Support the site team with caretaker duties, cleaning and minor repairs.
• Liaise with school staff and Trust teams to coordinate maintenance and use of facilities.
